Chemical Plant and Engineering is a Division of CEM International. The CPE advantage is the RTF4 Hydrofoil blade agitator which has extremely efficient hydrodynamic design. The design allows a duplication in agitator performance with less horsepower with a wet end replacement, or an increase agitation using the same horsepower. One recent customer used a thermo imaging camera to compare temperature variations in two CIL tanks. The audit showed the old agitator to have temperature striations, indicating non-homogeneous mixing versus a constant temperature in the CPE retrofitted tank.

We employ state-of-the-art process calculation and modelling tools as well as decades of design experience to custom design agitators in order to ensure we offer the best available solution for your process. Our design philosophy is to provide effective and reliable agitation at lower power consumption to ensure optimum process efficiency, as well as maximum plant utilization.
